On September 1st, a delegation from the city of Taoyuan, located on the island of Taiwan, paid visit to our office in Porto. The visit was part of a wider tour across Europe, during which the delegation explored urban development strategies and exchanged insights with key organizations involved in city planning and design.

Taoyuan, together with the neighboring district of Zhongli, forms one of the major metropolitan areas in Taiwan. The region is internationally recognized for its extensive industrial parks and its concentration of high-technology companies, making it one of the country’s principal economic hubs. It also hosts Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, the largest and busiest airport in the territory.
